Replacement Child Syndrome

Clinical Psychologist, Khosi Jiyane interrogates the Replacement child syndrome, which is said to be a term used to refer to a child conceived shortly after the parents have lost another child. Khosi extends this phenomenon to African culture of being named after a deceased ngkgono so and so as well as the concept of lebitso ke serumo.
